Reports suggest that HTC‘s so-called Aero smartphone will be an absolute powerhouse, but a reliable source has now cast doubt on these rumours.
Infamous tipster Evan Blass claims to have obtained specs details for the handset, and they are a far cry from the deca-core internals we heard about recently.
Blass says the Aero will in fact be a mid-ranger with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chip and 2GB of RAM on board, along with a 2,150mAh battery.
His source also points to a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, 16GB of on-board storage with microSD support, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and 4-ultrapixel front snapper.
Build-wise, the Aero is said to sport a metal shell with a fingerprint scanner built in and launch in six different colours.
