What command or option can you use to see the build date of the Linux system you are running?

What command do you use to see the build date of the Linux system you are running? Specifically the build date of a Linux server, I am using a Linux server for my Intro Linux/Unix class.

The build date of a Linux-based system is not normally stored anywhere.

You can get the build date of the kernel with “uname -a” (see “man uname”), but this isn’t even slightly the same.
