Apple today released iOS 10 beta 8 to developers, as well as iOS 10 Public Beta 7 to public testers. If you fall into either group, you can grab today’s update by going into Settings on your iOS device, then tapping General, and then tapping Software Update.
It’s not often that we see eight beta versions of an iOS update, but apparently Apple still has some more bugs to squash and performance improvements to make before iOS 10 rolls out to the public this fall. Because we’re getting so close to iOS 10’s public release, it’s likely that iOS 10 beta 8 is focused on ironing out performance so that iOS 10 is ready for public use.
