Emojis have had a pretty big 2015. There’s been a load of new additions, including the coveted middle finger and unicorn emojis, and one of them was even crowned Oxford Dictionary’s word of the year.
But which are the most popular pictograms in our wordless vocabulary?
Well, Twitter has answered the question. The micro-blogging site’s end of year report is out, revealing, amongst other things, the most used emoji over the past 12 months. There’s a few glaring omissions – c’mon, where’s the aubergine and smiley poo emojis? – and a couple of surprising additions…
